First images released of the cast for the London premiere of Tennesee Williams' 'CONFESSIONAL' at Southwark Playhouse, including Rob Ostlere, who was Arthur Digby for three years in 'Holby City'. Tramp's innovative, semi-immersive production reimagines Tennessee Williams' little known play in "Monk's Bar", a run-down British seaside bar on the Essex coast, frequented by life's flotsam and jetsam. The audience are seated in the pub with the locals while the action kicks off around them.

Share a drink with a group of shameless lowlifes and watch their lives implode... Tramp's innovative, semi-immersive production reimagines Tennessee Williams' little known play, CONFESSIONAL, in "Monk's Bar", a run-down British seaside bar on the Essex coast, frequented by life's flotsam and jetsam. The audience are seated in the pub with the locals while the action kicks off around them. Join the bar's regulars over the course of one furious and fun evening, as a pair of strangers enters their world - and all hell breaks loose. 

Six Edward Bond Plays At The Cock Tavern

The Cock Tavern Theatre is presenting a landmark season of six Edward Bond plays from six decades from Tuesday 14 September to Saturday 13 November 2010. During the nine week season it is presenting the UK premiere of Olly's Prison (1993), a revival of The Pope's Wedding (1962), the London première of The Under Room (2005), The Fool (1976), the first revival of Red, Black and Ignorant (1985) and will culminate with a new, yet untitled première that Edward Bond has been commissioned to write for the Cock Tavern Theatre.
