The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in association with the British Council presents ON THE FRINGE: Eye on Edinburgh in various locations throughout the Kennedy Center from October 28 to November 13, 2010. Containing many free and low-cost performances, the three-week event features seven works from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe - which has been a crucible for the creation of innovative and experimental work.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) and La Vie Productions present ABOVE HELL'S KITCHEN. Performances will take place from October 4th, 2010 through October 17th at TBG Theatre - 312 West 36th Street 3rd Floor New York, NY 10018. Official Opening is set for Monday, October 4th, 2010 at 8:00pm.

The playwright's group 13P has received a sizable donation from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Variety is reporting. The group did not discuss the size of the donation, only that it will aid them in putting on the rest of their season. 13P (Thirteen Playwrights, Inc.) was formed in 2003 by 13 midcareer playwrights concerned about what the trend of endless readings and new play development programs is doing to the texture and ambition of new American plays. They decided they were ready to take matters into their own hands.

'MONSTROSITY' will be performed at The Connelly Theatre, 220 East 4th Street (between Avenues A and B), with performances running from July 9 through 19, 2009 for a total of twelve performances.
