FX Orders Next Book of Miniseries AMERICAN HORROR STORY

FX has ordered the next book of the award-winning miniseries AMERICAN HORROR STORY, picking up 13 hours of a new miniseries from Twentieth Century Fox Television, it was announced today by John Landgraf, President and General Manager of FX Networks. Production of the untitled AHS will begin next summer and premiere in the fall of 2013.

GLEE Give a Note Winners Announced!

Twentieth Century Fox Television, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) announced today the winners for the "GLEE Give a Note" campaign - that started over 3 months ago - whereby 73 schools nationwide will receive grants ranging from $10,000 to $50,000 to help save struggling music programs. As the economy continues to stumble, school music and fine arts classes are the first to feel the impact with drastic budget cuts and elimination of departments. The "GLEE Give a Note" campaign aims to soften the blow, and reignite public passion for supporting student arts programs and the teachings they provide to students.
FX Orders 'American Horror Story' to Series With Jessica Lange, Denis O'Hare, et al.

FX has placed a 13-episode order for its next original drama series, American Horror Story, co-created by former Nip/Tuck executive producers and current Glee co-creators/executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, announced John Landgraf, President and General Manager, FX Networks. American Horror Story begins production in Los Angeles on July 27 and will premiere on FX in October.

In the short amount of time since GLEE hit the airwaves, the series has racked up two Platinum and two Gold albums, two Grammy Award nominations, more than 22 million song downloads, the No. 1 soundtrack of 2010 ('The Christmas Album') and an incredible 19 Emmy and 11 Golden Globe nominations, as well as four Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes, including the award for Best Television Series Comedy or Musical.

In a significant multiplatform deal, Columbia Records will be the official music partner of Twentieth Century Fox Television's eagerly anticipated new comedy musical series 'Glee.' As part of the deal, Columbia will release music from the show - as both single tracks and soundtracks - on iTunes and other digital platforms as well as in retail outlets.
