The two years since the release of their last album, The Ash & Clay, have been significant ones for the group. In addition to a Grammy nomination for Best Folk Album, The Milk Carton Kids won Duo/Group of the Year at the Americana Music Awards in 2014.

John Schneider and Tom Wopat - the original stars of 'The Dukes of Hazzard' - will release a special vinyl version of their acclaimed holiday album HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. The LP will be available today, November 20 at TomWopat.com. They will celebrate the vinyl release with concerts on December 5 (John Schneider Studios in Holden, LA), December 16 (The Lyric Theatre in Stuart, FL) and December 20 (a Tom solo show at the Ringling Theater in Baraboo, WI).

Grammy-nominated harmony duo The Milk Carton Kids have announced the May 19 release of their third album, Monterey, and will bring their 2015 concert tour to Nashville with a performance at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center tonight, November 5 at 8:00 p.m.

RACHEL CALOF, a play with music, based on the life of Rachel Calof, a Jewish picture bride who was a homesteader on the Great Plains from 1894-1904, was chosen to be highlighted in the United Solo Theatre Festival.

Bob Stromberg's comic theatrical show That Wonder Boy is honored to be part of the 2015 United Solo Theatre Festival in New York City. Crowded Fire Theater (CFT) is pleased to announce the cast and creative team and dates for the American Premiere of TRUCK STOP by Lachlan Philpott, opening Monday October 5, 8 pm running through October 24 at the Thick House in San Francisco's Potrero Hill. Directed by Marilee Talkington, this production marks Lachlan Philpott's first fully produced play in the United States. Philpott is an award-winning playwright in Australia whose plays have been extensively developed at American theaters including San Francisco's ACT, Crowded Fire Theater and the Magic.

Garrison Keillor will visit the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) tonight, August 7, 2015 at 8PM (Garrison's birthday) as part of his coast-to-coast, sea to shining sea bus tour to celebrate his popular radio show A Prairie Home Companion's 41st anniversary.

Victoria Theatre Association (VTA) and the Arts Center Foundation (ACF) presented their 2014-2015 Community Report at today's annual meeting, held in the Mathile Theatre at the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center. The meeting celebrated a report revealing more than 42,000 tickets sold to new patrons during the 2014-2015 Season, a successful launch of The Next Stage Endowment Campaign, and more than 22,000 students from more than 17 counties and 51 school districts participating in The Frank M. Tait Foundation Discovery Series.

DPAC has just announced key event statistics for the venue's recently completed seventh season. Total attendance hit a new high mark of 448,998 guests, topping DPAC's last record of 421,000 set in the 2011 / 2012 season. The seventh season also set new records with total events (224 events), total sellouts (112 sellout performances) and number of season seat members (15,167) for the signature series, SunTrust Broadway at DPAC.
