Burt Young Stars in World Premiere Comedy THE LAST VIG at Zephyr Theatre

Academy Award-nominated actor Burt Young (Rocky, Chinatown, The Pope of Greenwich Village) takes on the role of an aging mob boss in a new comedy written and directed by David Varriale. The world premiere of The Last Vig will open Jan. 14 at the Zephyr Theatre on Melrose for a six-week run.

Tapestry Opera's exciting recent momentum continues this spring with another world premiere, ROCKING HORSE WINNER, commissioned in partnership with Scottish Opera. This modern adaptation of D.H. Lawrence's masterful short story-an intimate psychological look at love, luck and greed-comes to life with a libretto by Dora Mavor Moore Award-winning playwright Anna Chatterton and music by Irish-Scottish composer Gareth Williams.
