JemmThree, the UK's first 24/7 radio station dedicated to musical theatre, is having a Musical Theatre Christmas by raising the curtain on nine musicals, with many narrated by the shows' own writing teams.

Carrie Hope Fletcher (Les Miserables), Gareth Gates (Pop Idol), Danny Mac (Hollyoaks) and the lads from McFly are just some of the folks who went on down to Bromley Football Club this year to not only show their support for the Great Ormond Street Hospital, but to also lend a hand in the re-match on the pitch between two of the West End's biggest casts - Les Miserables v The Phantom of the Opera.

Tonight, 11th August 2013 the casts of the West End musicals 'LES MISERABLES' and 'THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA' swap their costumes for sports kits when they go head-to-head in a charity football match at Bromley Football Club.

Members from the current West End casts of long-running hits THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and LES MISERABLES will convene to join former footballers and some A-list stars at Hayes Lane in Bromley for a special charity soccer game to benefit the Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The Les Miserables company have been asked by the lovely people at BWW:UK to blog about the forthcoming charity football match between Les Miserables and The Phantom Of The Opera. As the organiser of the event, I have decided to go first, so here goes…

Following its hugely successful world premiere at New Wimbledon Theatre in July 2012, Momentous Musicals is back by popular demand, returning to New Wimbledon Theatre with a brand new production for one night only today, 17 July 2013, followed by tour dates at the Princess Theatre, Torquay (Friday 19 July), the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford (Monday 22 July) and the Palace Theatre, Manchester (Thursday 25 July).

Award-winning and record-breaking musical theatre star John Owen-Jones (LES MISERABLES, Phantom of the Opera) will join the previously announced cast of Momentous Musicals as a special guest star for each of its 2013 tour dates dates at New Wimbledon Theatre on Wednesday 17 July, the Princess Theatre, Torquay on Friday 19 July, the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford on Monday 22 July, and the Palace Theatre, Manchester on Thursday 25 July.

Following its premiere at the New Wimbledon Theatre last year, Speckulation Entertainment have released a live recording of the well-received concert. The album features fondly regarded musical numbers sung by professional musical theatre stars.

Pop Idol and West End favourite Gareth Gates (Joseph, Les Miserables, Legally Blonde) headlines this live album release of Momentous Musicals, alongside Jonathan Ansell (G4, Whistle Down the Wind), Daniel Boys (Any Dream Will Do, Avenue Q), Emma Williams (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Love Story) and Rachael Wooding (Jersey Boys, Hairspray).

The alumb will be released on the anniversary of what would have been the late Eric Woolfson's 68th birthday. 'Somewhere in the Audience' is a compilation of music from four of Eric's musicals 'GAUDI', 'GAMBLER', 'POE' and 'DANCING SHADOWS'.

Gareth Gates (Pop Idol), Chico (Dancing On Ice), Louisa Lytton (Eastenders, The Bill, Strictly Come Dancing), Andy Abraham (X Factor) and Shane Richie Jnr will take to the Wyvern Theatre stage in BOOGIE NIGHTS - THE 70'S MUSICAL IN CONCERT from Monday 15 to Saturday 20 April 2013.

The Wyvern will present a brand-new season including Gareth Gates and Chico in Boogie Nights the Musical in Concert, Liza Goddard and Lysette Anthony in Agatha Christie's Go Back For Murder, Ray Quinn and Beverley Callard in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Hannah Waterman in Abigail's Party, Toyah Wilcox in Hormonal Housewives and Dancing On Ice's Keith Chegwin in Jack and the Beanstalk.

A Body To Die[t] For will run today, 17th February | Etcetera Theatre | 3pm & 6:30pm and 27th February | Landor Theatre | 7:30p. By writers Tim Anfilogoff and Alan Whittaker, the production is directed by Matthew Gould, with musical director Benjamin Holder.

The producing team behind The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Arts Theatre) and The Children of Eden Gala Concert (Prince of Wales Theatre), Aria Entertainment and Knockhardy Productions present a concert revival of Lucy Simon and Marsha Norman's three times Tony Award winning musical The Secret Garden.
