THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE Starring Jessica Chastain and Andrew Garfield Begins Production

 Fox Searchlight Pictures announced today that principal photography on THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE is underway in Charlotte, North Carolina. The film is written by Abe Sylvia (Dead to Me, DIRTY GIRL) and directed by Michael Showalter (THE BIG SICK; HELLO, MY NAME IS DORIS), and stars Jessica Chastain (MOLLY'S GAME, ZERO DARK THIRTY) and Andrew Garfield (HACKSAW RIDGE, SILENCE). The film is based on Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato's acclaimed 2000 documentary of the same name chronicling the dynamic ascent and subsequent demise and redemption of televangelists Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker as described by Tammy Faye herself.

One Village Entertainment, an RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE) brand, announces the DVD release of Four of Hearts. The romantic drama is written and directed by Eric Haywood and stars Darrin Dewitt Henson (Stomp the Yard), Nadine Ellis (Tropic Thunder), Michelle Krusiec (What Happens in Vegas), Gabriel Olds (Surrogates) and Victoria Gabrielle Platt (Guiding Light). Four of Hearts will be available on DVD for an SRP of $27.97.

In 'The Past Is Still Ahead' by Sophia Romma, one of Russia's most ill-fated and controversial cult poets of the twentieth century, Marina Tsvetaeva, revisits the tumultuously tragic and sexy events of her life--just before she succumbs to 'suicide' at the hands of the Soviet Secret Police in 1941 while exiled in Siberia. The play will be presented by Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival tonight, July 23, 27 and 28 at The Jewel Box Theater, 312 W. 36th Street, 4th floor, NYC, directed by Francois Rochaix.

LA Drama Critics Awards Held on 3/17

The 39th annual Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards will be handed out on March 17 at North Hollywood's El Portal Theatre. The awards, recognizing excellence in Southern California theatre, including Los Angeles and Orange County, will be hosted by Jason Graae.
