The holidays are here and The Carnegie is getting into the spirit. On Saturday, December 10, The Carnegie will welcome school and community choirs from across Northern Kentucky for a joyful celebration of the season. Happy Holidays with The Kentucky Choirs, the second event in the 2016-17 G.E.T. Together Series, will feature performances at 3pm and 7:30pm.

XANADU Opens at the Carnegie, 8/11 - 8/26

The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center (The Carnegie) begins its 2012-13 Theatre Series with the funny and feel-good roller skating Broadway musical XANADU. Based (often satirically) on the 1980 Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly film of the same title, XANADU features pop hits including "Evil Woman," "I'm Alive" and "Magic." The production receives its local professional premiere in The Carnegie's Otto M. Budig Theatre weekends August 11 - 26, 2012, under the direction of lauded former Cincinnatian Alan Patrick Kenny. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre will open its doors on Sunday, August 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday, August 22 from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to offer the performing arts lover the opportunity to obtain information and purchase subscriptions for the 2011/2012 season presented by the Centre's three resident companies, Gas South Broadway Series, The Atlanta Opera and the Atlanta Ballet. Each resident company will have special 'Access the Arts' subscription offers available only at this two-day event. Additionally, the event offers arts patrons an opportunity to visit the venue and 'test-drive your seats' in the theatre.
