Harry Lloyd to Star in The Print Room's NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND This Autumn

GAME OF THRONES' Harry Lloyd will return to the stage this October in a modern adaptation of NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND, a novella by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. The production previewed earlier this year in Paris. NOTES FROM UNDERGROUND will be the inaugural production at The Print Room's new venue, The Coronet in Notting Hill.

Despite its painful origin, Cody's book is inspiringly titled There Is Another Life!.

Artists Rep and the University of Portland are pleased to present the U.S. Premiere of Natasya Filippovna from Moscow New Drama Theatre. Natasya Filippovna is in an improvisation form based on Fyodor Dostoyevsky's The Idiot as directed by Viacheslav Dolgachev. The limited performances run tonight, January 8 through 12 at 7:30pm, with five fixed improvisation shows performed with English subtitles; the final performance, January 13 at 2pm, will be fully improvised and in Russian with no English subtitles. A reception with the artists will follow performances on January 9 and 13.

Fresh off the sold-out run of season opener King Lear, Trinity Rep continues their 49th Season with Sarah Treem's fast and smart new play The How and the Why, directed by Shana Gozansky. Opening in previews tonight, November 29 and running through December 30 at Trinity Rep, this powerful and intimate production features two brilliant characters - one in her fifties, one her twenties - each with her own take on the controversial debate surrounding the theory of female evolution. In this funny, gripping new play, a mentor and her protege bond and spar over the personal and professional consequences of their own diametrically opposed theories. Inspiring and provocative, this witty gem from Sarah Treem (of HBO's In Treatment) is both engrossing and powerful.
