Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill Jazz...Etc. will present ARIANA SAVALAS - 'SOPHISTICATED LADY,' a CD Release and Birthday Celebration, Starring singer Ariana Savalas, with Guest Artist Pianist, Corky Hale for a One Night Only engagement on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill, Jazz, Etc.; 2930 N. Beverly Glen Circle; Bel Air, Calif. Savalas will be accompanied by Joe Bagg, Piano; Steve Venz, Bass; Andy Sanesi, Drums and Steve Cottor, Guitar. Savalas will not only be celebrating her birthday that night, but the completion of her first jazz album entitled 'SOPHISTICATED LADY.' The concert will be followed by a CD signing.

A Twist of Lemmon: A Tribute to My Father is a memoir-styled book concerning the life of famed American actor Jack Lemmon, as viewed through the eyes of his son, Christopher Lemmon. The book was published in May 2006 by Algonquin Books, and features a foreword by Kevin Spacey, who credits Jack Lemmon with his pursuit of acting.

Featured among the stellar shorts in the program is the award-winning film FOODIE which screens on Friday 10/26 at 6:30pm and will also play in the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Film Festival and the Cucalorus Film Festival in November. The show went on in Freddie's honor, with his long-time friend Stewie Stone, the Prior of the Friars, stepping in as host and with Freddies favorite, on-the-rise stand-up comics carrying on the Catskills comedy tradition.
