Cirque du Soleil has announced its new on-ice spectacle AXEL will perform at T-Mobile Arena April 3-5, 2020. Spinning guests into an electrifying journey with an adrenaline-fueled crew, 'Axel' and his band of colorful characters will go on an all-new adventure inspired by music and graphic arts. Featuring spectacular skating, breathtaking acrobatics, visual effects and an upbeat original soundtrack, AXEL will thrill Las Vegas with six performances. Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has announced Cornelius Smith Jr. (ABC's Scandal and All My Children) will perform in Arena Stage's 2020/21 Season.

TV One's longest-running and award-winning documentary series UNSUNG continues its stellar run with an all-new season premiering Sunday, February 23 at 10 P.M. ET/9C. The season kicks off with the popular 90s R&B group Dru Hill.

Bristol Riverside Theatre continues its 33rd anniversary season by partnering with the renowned Bedlam Theatre, out of New York City, to present a modern look at a classic Shakespearean tragedy. Bedlam has a reputation for new, fresh, active environment storytelling that creates a kinetic experience of shared empathy. Lead by Bedlam's Artistic Director Eric Tucker, Bedlam brings its six-woman interpretation of William Shakespeare's King Lear to the Philadelphia region and Bucks County. This exciting collaboration represents the first time Bristol Riverside Theatre has presented another theatre company on its stage.

Problem: Traditional 'rock' groups try to generate excitement at live shows with loud guitars -- but, after 70 years dominating popular music, the guitar era is over and its graying progenitors, fussing about with their boutique amplifiers and eensie pedals, are in aesthetic crisis. Meanwhile, hip-hop production -- disruptive, innovative, incredibly exciting -- has already defined the 21st century, but the genre's reliance on backing tracks means live shows sometimes lack energy and spontaneity. 

Magnet Theater presents The Eleventh Annual New York Musical Improv Festival from March 12 - 15, 2020 at 254 W. 29th Street, ground floor (between 7th and 8th Avenues), NYC. FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME, the hip-hop improv show, plays its final Broadway performance today, January 12, 2020 at the Booth Theatre, after 23 previews and 118 regular performances.

Aurora Theatre Company presents the return special limited engagement TELL TALE HEARTS: An Evening of Hip Hop Theatre Featuring Carlos Aguirre and The Bay Area Theatre Cypher, three evenings of hip hop theatre and spoken word. Carlos Aguirre and The Bay Area Theatre Cypher return to Aurora following sold-out shows last December.

ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) announces an eclectic music lineup for its 22nd Annual Sundance ASCAP Music Café, taking place January 24 - 31, 2020 during the acclaimed Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Beginning at 2 p.m. each day, the Café will feature a dynamic mix of both established and emerging songwriters and artists such as Matt Berninger (of The National), Derek Smalls (formerly of the band formerly known as Spinal Tap), the bird and the bee, Barry Zito, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Matthew Koma (of Winnetka Bowling League) and ZZ Ward.
