A two-day weekend of high energy jazz throughout the City of Carmel will come with a side of delicious food and drink, along with a just-announced Carmel Jazz Fest Art Fair. The inaugural Carmel Jazz Fest weekend kicks off Friday evening at 5 p.m. and the music won't stop until late Saturday night.

Kids can experience the joy of music with the newest addition to Carmel Jazz Fest: A Kids Zone at Carter Green for kids 12 and under (who are admitted for free) with the popular kids entertainer, Mr. Daniel. The Kids Zone will take place both days of the festival, August 11-12.

Carmel Jazz Fest organizers continue to add big names and fresh sounds to the already explosive lineup of music for the inaugural event August 11-12. The festival will feature more than 30 electrifying national and international acts, including Spyro Gyra (festival headliner), Evelyn “Champagne” King, Dave Bennett Quartet, Freddie Fox and Tim Cunningham.

The inaugural Carmel Jazz Fest is scheduled for August 11 and 12, 2023, in Carmel, IN. The two-day festival will feature 30+ international, national and regional jazz, R&B and blues acts across eight stages throughout Carmel, including The Palladium, The Tarkington, Carmel Gazebo, Carter Green, The Studio Theatre, Midtown Plaza, Feinstein's at Hotel Carmichael, Jazz on the Monon and pop-up performances.  The event includes an upscale art market, beer, wine and food vendors.

The six-date tour will start at The Green Door Store in Brighton on April 18th and finish at the O2 Academy, Oxford on April 28th. The Orange Tree Theatre today announces that it has appointed Tom Littler as the company's new Artistic Director. Currently Artistic Director and Executive Producer of the West End's Jermyn Street Theatre, Littler will succeed Paul Miller who is stepping down in December 2022 after more than eight years in post.

There’s a certain gravitas that follows Hamlet, a reverence that seems to accompany the great Dane alone. When you happen to have a centuries-old church at hand for Shakespeare’s greatest tragedy, this happenstance only grows. Sunday evening saw a very different kind of Zoom call. In aid of The Royal Theatrical Fund, Lockdown Theatre presented another excellent performance; Tom Stoppard’s The Real Inspector Hound, featuring an absolutely stellar cast who performed the play as a live table read over Zoom.

Following the success of Noël Coward's Private Lives in September which raised £44,000 for the Royal Theatrical Fund, Lockdown Theatre today announces a live virtual table read of The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard, in association with The Royal Theatrical Fund. The table read will take place via Zoom, followed by a live Q&A with the cast and director on Sunday 25 October at 7pm.

IFC and UK's Channel 4 are returning to Victorian London for a second outing of Year of the Rabbit. The six-episode second season, written by Emmy® and WGA Award winners Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil (Veep, Black Books) and co-written by and starring Matt Berry (Toast of London, What We Do In The Shadows), will once again focus on tough booze-hound Detective Inspector Rabbit (Berry), his hapless partner Strauss (Freddie Fox) and the country's first female police officer Mabel (Susan Wokoma) as they fight crime in London's east end. The renewal news comes just days before Year of the Rabbit premieres Wednesday, February 19th at 10:30pm ET/PT on IFC.
