The feisty and captivating pair of Fred Astaire  and Ginger Rogers still lives on ­- generations after they first danced into the hearts of millions. This Tinseltown twosome continues to inspire legions of movie and dancing buffs due in part to the numerous films in which the virtuoso duo starred. However, fans can enjoy this iconic dancing pair's legacy live thanks to the world premiere of Carefree: Dancin' with Fred & Ginger - a musical tribute co-produced by New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and RKO Stage.

On Monday, May 1, 2017, The New York Pops celebrates its 34th birthday with a grand gala evening honoring Tony Award winners Kelli O'Hara and Bartlett Sher, whose collaborations over the last decade have won universal acclaim and whose individual careers represent pinnacles of achievement in the world of theatre.

Cagney, the hit musical about James Cagney currently playing at The Westside Theater, Upstairs, celebrates the release of its original New York cast recording with a special live performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble, Upper East Side, 150 East 86th St. (at Lexington Ave), on Thursday, November 3 at 7PM.

CAGNEY, the new hit musical about Hollywood's tough guy in tap shoes, just recently welcomed Broadway's Jeffry Denman  to the company.  Denman is best known for starring in the original company of Irving Berlin's White Christmas for which he was nominated for a Fred & Adele Astaire Award. He was Munkustrap in the final cast of Cats (original Broadway production) and was featured in the original company of The Producers which led him to pen the memoir, A Year with The Producers. 

Tony Award-winning soprano Kelli O'Hara makes her first-ever solo headlining appearance at Carnegie Hall tonight, October 29, at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.

Since winning hearts during his stint on Strictly Come Dancing, partnered by Flavia Cacace, actor and astrologer Russell Grant has starred in Hairspray, Grease and The Wizard of Oz. He's now hosting The Golden Age of Dance, a celebration of great dance numbers from classic films like Top Hat, Follow the Fleet, Swing Time and Shall We Dance, featuring a company of West End dancers and The Novello Orchestra. The show is at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 13 November and Wales Millennium Centre on 15 November.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and RKO Stage announce the cast for the world premiere of Carefree: Dancin' with Fred & Ginger, an all-new tribute to American cinema's most iconic pair, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle directs and choreographs this original musical spectacular.

Funny Face is a 1927 musical by George and Ira Gershwin. It opened in November of 1927, and starred Fred Astaire and his sister Adele. The musical returns Off-Broadway as part of Musicals Tonight!'s 2016-17 season.

Not even five and half feet tall, James Cagney's oversized talent catapulted him from scrappy Irish kid on the streets of New York to Hollywood legend on "the top of the world." A Vaudeville hoofer turned actor, Cagney made a splash on Broadway before Hollywood called and made him one of the Silver Screen's most iconic tough guys in legendary films including The Public Enemy, The G Men and White Heat.  But it was his turn as song and dance man George M. Cohan in Yankee Doodle Dandy that earned him the Academy Award and forever cemented his place as one of America's most beloved movie legends alongside the likes of Clark Gable, Charlie Chaplin, Marlon Brando, Jimmy Stewart and Fred Astaire. Now his off-Broadway debut is being visited by some of the biggest names in theatre. Check out some shots of the exciting backstage visitors that have been turning up at Cagney the Musical.

Glen Street Theatre is excited to announce a diverse 2017 season at their beautiful 400-seat theatre located in Belrose on Sydney's north shore. The theatre will present dramas, comedies, music events, satire and children's theatre from a variety of arts companies and producers from around the country. 

Cagney, the new hit musical about Hollywood's tough guy in tap shoes, welcomes Broadway's Jeffry Denman (Irving Berlin's White Christmas, The Producers) to the company. Starting tonight, October 14, Denman assumes the roles of Bob Hope (and others) when Jeremy Benton, who originated the role, takes a temporary leave of absence from the production through the year's end.

The original New York cast recording of Cagney is out digitally, at the theatre, and in stores as of today, October 14th.
