ANYTHING THAT GIVES OFF LIGHT To Play Joe¹s Pub In 2019

the TEAM (Rachel Chavkin, Artistic Director; Alexandra Lalonde, Producing Director) the award-winning Brooklyn theatre ensemble, will present Anything That Gives Off Light, a co-production with National Theatre of Scotland and Edinburgh International Festival, from March 14-30 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street) with preceding runs at Virginia Tech and at Crossing Roots: A Rural-Urban Theatre Workshop presented by Cardinal Cross in Whitesburg, KY. Opening night at Joe's Pub is Saturday, March 16.

Tom Hiddleston Will Lead BETRAYAL in Pinter at the Pinter Season

Forty years to the day of the first ever performance of Harold Pinter's Betrayal on 15 November 1978, The Jamie Lloyd Company announces that Golden Globe, Olivier and Evening Standard Award winner Tom Hiddleston will play Robert in Jamie Lloyd's new production at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 5 March 2019 (press night 13 March) for a strictly limited season ending on 1 June. Further casting to be announced.

Bucks County Playhouse Launches Play Discovery Reading Series

Audiences will have a chance to experience both lesser known classic plays and new works when Bucks County Playhouse launches its Play Discovery Series with a reading of 'The Outgoing Tide' by Philadelphia playwright Bruce Graham on November 14 at 7:30 p.m. Directed by four-time Oscar nominee, Marsha Mason, 'The Outgoing Tide' is the first of several plays that will be part of the series for which Mason also serves as curator.  Additional titles will be announced shortly.

LA Children's Chorus Rings In The Holidays With Winter Concert

Los Angeles Children's Chorus (LACC), one of the world's leading children's choirs, celebrates the holidays with its annual Winter Concert, entitled "Winter Wonderland: Sounds of the Season," which marks the first stand-alone program led by the Chorus' new Artistic Director, Fernando Malvar-Ruiz, on two consecutive Sundays, December 9 and 16, 2018, at 7:30 pm, at Pasadena Presbyterian Church. Some 250 choristers are featured in the multi-media vocal program, which is geared for people of all ages and includes an array of favorite carols, seasonal songs from Venezuela and winter-themed works by Bach, Kodaly, Elgar, Verdi, Saint-Saens and others.

Fans can get a glimpse of episode one via an interactive 360 camera view of a Google Pixelbook floating high above earth in the open atmosphere. With the 360 video, viewers are able to explore the mysterious corners of space while watching the sneak peek of ORIGIN, backdropped with an amazing visual of earth.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and Hearst Magazines announced today that Oprah Winfrey's in-depth conversation with Michelle Obama about her new memoir Becoming will air as a primetime special “Oprah Winfrey Presents:  Becoming Michelle Obama” on Thursday, November 15 at 8:00 PT/ET on OWN, with an extended unedited version available on “Oprah's SuperSoul Conversations” podcast starting the same day, with part two available on November 19. In addition, the full interview will be streamed on Oprah's Facebook on Sunday, November 18 at 11:00 am ET/PT. The interview will also be featured in O, The Oprah Magazine on newsstands November 20, with behind-the-scenes content available on Oprahmag.com as well as globally across multiple Hearst Magazines' titles, including the December cover of ELLE.

Bucks County Playhouse Presents THE WORD OF MOUTH Gifts Story Telling Event

Bucks County Playhouse's Storytelling Series continues this month and features Jamie Beth Cohan, a Washington Post writer, Rory Scholl, the producer of The Liar Show and James Braly, a two-time winner of The Moth GrandSlam. Neglia Ballet's 10th Anniversary Production of THE NUTCRACKER

Neglia Ballet's The Nutcracker is still  going strong as the company gears up to perform its 10th Anniversary presentation of the holiday treat at Shea's Performing Art Center with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
