The Boch Center and The Bowery Presents announced today that British musical group Massive Attack will perform at the Boch Center Wang Theatre on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 7:30PM as part of their "MezzanineXX1 Tour 2019." Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 9 at 10:00AM.

Mezzanine XX1 will be a totally new audio / visual production featuring Elizabeth Fraser and designed by Robert Del Naja with collaborators to be announced at a later date. The show will re-imagine Mezzanine twenty one years after its release using custom audio reconstructed from the original samples and influences. Robert Del Naja says, "It's going to be a one off piece of work; our own personalized nostalgia nightmare head trip."

Massive Attack are a British musical group formed in 1988 in Bristol, United Kingdom, consisting of Robert "3D" Del Naja, Grant "Daddy G" Marshall and formerly Andy "Mushroom" Vowles ("Mush"). Their debut album Blue Lines was released in 1991, with the single "Unfinished Sympathy" reaching the charts and later being voted the 63rd greatest song of all time in a poll by NME. 1998's Mezzanine, containing "Teardrop", and 2003's 100th Windowcharted in the UK at number one. Both Blue Lines and Mezzanine are featured on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, November 9 at 10:00AM and will be available at the Boch Center Box Office, www.bochcenter.org, by calling (800) 982-ARTS (2787) and via Ticketmaster.
