HERSHEY FELDER AS IRVING BERLIN Makes World Premiere Tonight at the Geffen

Los Angeles favorite Hershey Felder returns to the Geffen Playhouse in Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin. The production is directed by Trevor Hay, who has collaborated with the performer and creator on An American Story, Abe Lincoln's Piano, Hershey Felder as Franz Liszt and The Pianist of Willesden Lane. Previews for Irving Berlin began on November 11, the press opening will be tonight, November 19 and the production is currently scheduled to close on December 21, 2014.

The Dallas Opera Presents TENOR MATTHEW POLENZANI, 1/11

The Dallas Opera, in the latest installment of The Robert E. and Jean Ann Titus Art Song Recital Series, will present the phenomenal American tenor,Matthew Polenzani, in an exclusive, one-time-only recital on the afternoon of Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Southern Methodist University's popular Caruth Auditorium (an intimate 490-seat venue located in the Owen Arts Center, 6101 Bishop, Dallas, TX 75205). The two o'clock recital will also feature the exciting and accomplished playing of Mr. Polenzani's frequent recording partner, pianistJulius Drake.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Presents SCHEHERAZADE This Weekend

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra performs Scheherazade this weekend, November 14-15, 2014 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Led by guest conductor Marcelo Lehninger, the performances feature Stravinsky's Suite No. 2 for Small Orchestra, Saint-Saëns's Piano Concerto No. 2 featuring Sean Chen, and Rimsky-Korsakov's iconic Scheherazade.

Pianist Daniil Trifonov Sets Upcoming Carnegie Hall Performances

On Tuesday, December 9 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage, Carnegie Hall presents piano virtuoso Daniil Trifonov in a program that features Bach's Fantasy and Fugue for Organ in G Minor, BWV 542 (trans. for piano by Franz Liszt, S. 463); Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 32 in C Minor, Op. 111; and Liszt's Transcendental Etudes, S. 139. Mr. Trifinov made his sold-out Carnegie Hall debut last year, which was recorded live for his first album on the Deutche Grammophon label, Trifonov: The Carnegie Recital.

Las Vegas Philharmonic to Present GREAT EUROPEAN MASTERY Concert, 11/22

The Las Vegas Philharmonic will present its second Masterworks Series performance, "Great European Mastery," on Saturday, November 22nd, in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30PM. The program will feature Weber's Overture to Oberon, Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto, and Brahms First Symphony. The concert will be conducted by Music Director and Conductor of the Eugene Symphony, Danail Rachev.

Richard Alston Dance Company Coming to Theatre Royal Glasgow

Richard Alston Dance Company is recognised as one of the most inspiring and influential UK-based choreographer-led companies, with a rich repertoire of deeply musical contemporary dance. This autumn Richard Alston is reviving his classic Overdrive, an exhilarating blast of nonstop dance to the pulsating rhythms of Californian minimalist Terry Riley. The ten dancers of Richard Alston Dance Company ride seamlessly across the surging waves of Riley's relentless patterning, in an intricate and mesmeric crescendo of movement and sound. Overdrive is one of 12 prescribed professional works for GCSE Dance on the AQA syllabus. Hershey Felder Joins APAC Foundation's Great Gatsby Gala Fundraiser Lineup

The Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation (APACF) has announced that renowned pianist HERSHEY FELDER will be performing at the organization's Great Gatsby Gala Benefit Concert on November 1, 2014. Mr. Felder is a Canadian pianist, actor, playwright, composer, producer, and director, and will perform excerpts from his production of 'Hershey Felder as Irving Berlin' at the gala, which will open in November at the Geffen Playhouse. In addition to Mr. Felder, the gala will feature performers JULIE GARNYE, JENNIFER SHELTON, ERIC LEVAN and SEAN LE VAN. Headlining the Great Gatsby Gala Benefit Concert will be beloved Hollywood legend, DEBBIE REYNOLDS.
