Trinity Repertory Company celebrated its 27th Pell Awards Gala on June 9, honoring outgoing artistic director Curt Columbus, philanthropist Paul J. Choquette Jr., and Teatro ECAS artistic and executive director Francis Parra. The evening featured performances by Trinity Rep resident company members and a special presentation of the Key to the City to Columbus by Providence Mayor Brett Smiley. Teatro ECAS (Education Center of Arts and Science) kicks off its 26th season with Martín Giner’s play, ‘Terapia’ (Therapy), an intriguing, highly entertaining dramatic comedy that invites the audience to be a fly on the wall during a series of sessions between a psychiatrist and his most challenging patient.

Beloved local theater and arts institution Teatro ECAS, under the direction of co-founder and Artistic Executive Director Francis Parra, is celebrating 25 years of bringing Spanish-language theatrical performances, education, and culture to Providence at a gala on the evening of Saturday, November 19th.
