On April 15, 2011, BOMB Magazine will celebrate 30 years of independent publishing and programming with its biggest Gala & Silent Auction yet, at Capitale in New York City.

Critically acclaimed novelist Francine Prose, writer of the recently published Anne Frank: The Book, The Life, The Afterlife, will present an author talk and book signing, on Sunday, September 19, 3 p.m., at Westport Country Playhouse. Prose will speak about her book, followed by an interview with David Kennedy, Playhouse associate artistic director, and a Q&A with the audience.

Concurrent with its autumn production of 'The Diary of Anne Frank,' Westport Country Playhouse is partnering with 16 community organizations to present 'Window onto History: Perspectives on ‘The Diary of Anne Frank.'

The Festival is a free, literary celebration featuring more than 200 national and international authors in readings and panel discussions. Theatre Hopkins will open its final production of the season, the Maryland premiere of the musical comedy, The Glorious Ones on Friday, June 11, at the Swirnow Theater in the Mattin Center on The Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St. in Baltimore.

Charles St. in Baltimore. The score and book are by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, who received the Tony Award for their musical 'Ragtime.' The production is directed and choreographed by Todd Pearthree.
