This season the Ensemble will present three different programs of dances by Mike Esperanza, Francesca Harper, Jae Man Joo, Lar Lubovitch, and Company Artistic Director Bradley Shelver, featuring two world premieres, April 30 and May 1 & 2 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55 Street.
Nimbus Dance Works will take the stage with three performances at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Fishman Space at the Fisher Building on Friday, May 8 at 8 PM and Saturday May 9 at 2 and 8 PM. Marking 10 years of producing its own brand of impactful dance, Nimbus will present the world premieres of two works at BAM.

Over the 5-day festival, March 11-15, ITE will bring together some of NYC's most talented emerging and established choreographers for an immersive focus on contemporary concert dance. The festival will feature a world premiere as well as four works-in-progress and re-staged pieces. ITE will present solos, duets, and trios from Stephanie Batten Bland, Sidra Bell, MADboots (Jonathan Campbell, Austin Diaz), Joe Celej, LoudHoundMovement (Brendan Duggan, Mallory Lynn), Davalois Fearon, Lane Gifford, Daniel Gwirtzman, Francesca Harper, Thomas House, Christina Noel & the Creature, Danielle Russo, David Norsworthy, Jenny Rocha, Sydney Schiff, Steps Ensemble (Bradley Shelver), Nelly Van Bommel, and Andre Zachery.

Steps on Broadway, one of New York's premiere dance studios, has announced that the Steps Beyond Foundation, its educational and presenting program, has received non-profit status, enabling the organization to provide more services and support to the artistic community.
The Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition continues to spotlight the best emerging playwrights with a full production for the competition winner and staged readings for four competition finalists. THE C.A. Lyons Project, the 11th competition winner, will premiere on the Hertz Stage February 13 - March 8, 2015. Opening night is February 18, 2015.
In a quaint studio theater at 74th Street and Broadway, Steps Beyond hosted a legendary affair, likened to the historic backdrop that inspired The Look of Feeling. Gaudy uptown apartments spilled light into the stripped down set as artistic director Bradley Shelver greeted guests with palms clasped, smiling genuinely. The intimate air was as welcoming as a friend hosting new guests.
VON USSAR danceworks presents the 8th Annual The Dance Gallery Festival, featuring original works from emerging and renowned choreographers from around the country in three performance programs this weekend, October 24, 25, and 26, 2014 at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 W. 55th Street, NYC (at Ninth Avenue).
Acclaimed dancer/choreographer Francesca Harper will perform her solo dance/theater work, 'The Look of Feeling,' a tribute to her mother, American dance pioneer Denise Jefferson, November 16, 7:30 PM, at Steps on Broadway. The very personal work will be narrated by Hope Clarke, noted dancer/actress/Broadway and film performer, Outer Circle Critics Award and Tony Award winner. Harper recounts her family's flight from Coffeeville, Mississippi, to her mother's legacy as founding Director of The Ailey School at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and a major figure on the New York dance scene.

With experienced artists from both the creative and performance sectors at the helm, ITE has supported 75 artists over the 5-year history of the organization. .
