Inception to Exhibition (ITE), NYC's only interdisciplinary arts organization fostering artist incubation, announces it's second annual dance festival. Over the 5-day festival, March 11-15, ITE will bring together some of NYC's most talented emerging and established choreographers for an immersive focus on contemporary concert dance. The festival will feature a world premiere as well as four works-in-progress and re-staged pieces. ITE will present solos, duets, and trios from Stephanie Batten Bland, Sidra Bell, MADboots (Jonathan Campbell, Austin Diaz), Joe Celej, LoudHoundMovement (Brendan Duggan, Mallory Lynn), Davalois Fearon, Lane Gifford, Daniel Gwirtzman, Francesca Harper, Thomas House, Christina Noel & the Creature, Danielle Russo, David Norsworthy, Jenny Rocha, Sydney Schiff, Steps Ensemble (Bradley Shelver), Nelly Van Bommel, and Andre Zachery.

"It is important for us to be able to bring back these companies, both emerging and established to share the stage," reflects Tiffany Rea-Fisher, ITE's Artistic Director. "This festival incorporates a spotlight on the level of artistic development that exists in New York City, and it is the key to our mission to be able to be a part of its public presentation."

As a part of ITE's commitment to supporting groundbreaking emerging artists and helping them gain traction for their work, the organization kicked off the new year with a Facebook Fan Choice contest. Two dance companies (LoudHoundMovement and Christina Noel & The Creature) from the festival lineup were chosen to post videos of their upcoming works for fan votes, which resulted in over 2,300 viewers and participants, naming Christina Noel & The Creature, the winner. In addition to the encore performance on March 15, ITE also provides a stipend and 12 months of on-line marketing.

About Inception to Exhibition

Founded in 2009 it is the mission of ITE to provide a space where artists of diverse disciplines can interact freely and conceive, rehearse, and perform their work, providing a holistic arts experience from inception to exhibition. It is the vision of Inception to Exhibition to grow into a high impact arts organization built around the creation of an environment where the unbridled sense of collaboration, which defines the conservatory experience, is, once again, available to those entering the professional performing arts community in New York City.
