ERTH'S PREHISTORIC AQUARIUM ADVENTURE Headlines McCallum's Annual Family Fun Day

The McCallum Theatre will kick off its fourth decade with the Seventh Annual McCallum Theatre Family Fun Day set for Sunday, October 21, 2018 featuring a performance of the critically-acclaimed Erth's Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure.  Proceeds from this special annual event will support theatre operations including the McCallum Theatre Education, the Theatre's award-winning arts education program that provides arts training to 40,000 students and educators annually, serving 70% of Coachella Valley classrooms.  The Co-Presenting Sponsors of Family Fun Day are The City of Palm Desert and The H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation.

Gay Wartime Love Story FLOWER OF IOWA Selected For Finals Gala On Theatre Row

Flower of Iowa, a bold new World War I drama about an unexpected and forbidden love between two soldiers - one American, one British - has been selected as one of the seven finalists at the 2018 New York New Works Theatre Festival, from a field of nearly 50 productions. Judging was determined by a panel of theatre professionals and by audience votes.

Grammy Winner Trisha Yearwood Will Headline McCallum Annual Gala

The McCallum Theatre announced today that one of entertainment's most beloved performers, multiple Grammy Award-winning country music superstar and lifestyle entrepreneur Trisha Yearwood , will headline its Annual Fundraising Gala to be held on Wednesday, December 5. The always eagerly-awaited annual event will honor leaders of one of the Valley's most philanthropic organizations, The H.N. and Frances C. Berger Foundation Board of Directors and President, Ronald M. Auen for their longstanding commitment to enhancing the quality of life in the Coachella Valley.

Inis Nua Theatre Celebrates 15th Anniversary With American Premieres

Inis Nua Theatre Company is proud to celebrate its 15th anniversary with the announcement of the 2018-2019 season. Music, laughter and mystery will fill the stage as Inis Nua presents the American Premieres of Inua Ellams' untitled and Monsay Whitney's Box Clever, plus the Philadelphia Premiere of David Greig's The Monster in the Hall. With the new season, Inis Nua will continue to be the only America theatre exploring exciting contemporary plays from Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales. Fader Premieres Duo Neil Frances ASK ME ANYTHING Video

LA-based duo Neil Frances have shared their brand new video for their single  “Ask Me Anything” HERE, from the debut EP Took A While. The visuals find the surreal and downtempo “Ask Me Anything” perfectly complemented with the dreamlike footage of an after school fairytale. Shot on Super 8, the video was directed by Kate Biel and Elliott Watson who create work together under the name KEWB. Neil Frances about the song, “we wrote this song very quickly, much faster than usual and we wanted it to feel current in subject matter while being influenced by an 80's production aesthetic.”

Ballet Hispánico Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With Dance: Instituto Coreográfico

Ballet Hispanico will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with free events, performances, and dance lessons for children and adults.
