Grab your boots and hold onto your cowboy hats, the off-Broadway country musical Cowgirls kicks off the Florida Studio Theatre 2011 Summer Season this June. The musical comedy with a big heart is the brainchild of playwright Mary Murfitt, with music and lyrics by Ms. Murfitt, a book by Betsy Howie, and musical arrangements by Mary Ehlinger. COWGIRLS plays preview performances
June 8 and 9, with a press opening June 10 in the Keating Theatre. Single tickets are priced $32 - $34 and can be purchased online at floridastudiotheatre.org or by calling the box office at (941) 366-9000.

Monkey With A Knife Productions is proud to present CLASSICALLY TRAINED, PRACTICALLY BROKE as part of the 14th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC. Franca Vercelloni performs this musical solo show, which she wrote in collaboration with Myrna E. Duarte and John David West. The show is also directed by Duarte and West. This is an Equity Approved Showcase and is not appropriate for those under 16 years of age. See listing for details.
