New York: The record-breaking hit Off-Broadway play, AFTERGLOW, written and directed by S. Asher Gelman, celebrates its one-year anniversary tonight, making it one of the longest running Off-Broadway plays this season.

This season's hit Off-Broadway play, Afterglow, written and directed by S. Asher Gelman, breaks the Davenport Theatre record for the longest running show, as it surpassed past productions including Georgie: My Adventures with George Rose, A Dog Story (in The Loft) as well as main stage productions of Shear Madness, Daddy Long Legs, Men and Women Talking Love and Sex, Pageant, Forbidden Broadway Comes Out Swinging! and Around the World in 80 Days.

Asher Gelman, which just announced a new block of tickets available through July, will be a sponsor of this year's AIDS Walk on May 20, 2018. In addition to sponsoring the event, Afterglow will assemble a team to participate in the walk before their two-show day.

The producers of Afterglow, have announced a new block of tickets will be released through March. This announcement marks the show's fifth extension at The Loft at The Davenport Theatre (354 West 45 St).

Afterglow began performances this past June's and has become a sleeper hit that has performed for over 6 months. The play has been touted by critics and audience members as a raw, entertaining piece of theater that features about 15 -20 minutes of male nudity and a working shower. This past weekend the show made headlines on SNL's Weekend Update for its partnership with GoNaked became public. The show offered a nudist theatrical experience for the group of 70 theatre- goers.

Diaspora opened this past Friday at the Gym at Judson. The show runs until December 23.
