JASON&JULIA Launches Momentum Reading Series Tonight at City Theatre

City Theatre is launching a new play reading series tonight with four events scheduled for the 2017-18 season. The readings are free, open to the public, and will be followed by post-show discussions with the cast and playwright.

Latro, beginning with the new dark comedy 'Absolution' set to start performances December 1 prior to an official press opening of December 10 at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues) in Manhattan. Onstage at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina this February, this play, which the NY Times called "hilarious," centers around a young, successful television actor who relocates to New York from L.A., where he rents a marvelous apartment in Greenwich Village. With his career in turmoil, the actor named Andrew Rally [played by Ethan Saks] is offered the role of Hamlet. But alas - you guessed it - he hates Hamlet!

Featured in the production are Bernard Cuffling, Linda Kimbrough, Dave Droxler and Andy Lutz.
