East West Players (EWP) and Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) are pleased to announce that for the Los Angeles premiere of the Broadway musical Allegiance, stage and screen star George Takei will be joined by Broadway cast members Elena Wang as Kei Kimura, Greg Watanabe as Mike Masaoka, Scott Watanabe as Tatsuo Kimura, and Janelle Dote as Hanako.

The Board of Directors and Millbrook Playhouse Artistic Director, David Leidholdt, will present another one of Frederick Knott's psychological thrillers, WAIT UNTIL DARK.

Accordions Around the World is a four-week series that brings over 100 accordionists, as well as bandoneon, bayan, concertina, and harmonium-players of different musical genres, to perform at Bryant Park. More than 40 actors have been set to participate in The Blank Theatre's 24th Annual Young Playwrights Festival, including Angelique Cabral (Life In Pieces), Christoph Sanders (Ghost Whisperer, Last Man Standing), JR Bourne (Teen Wolf), Sharon Lawrence (NYPD Blue), Scott Lowell (Queer As Folk), Angel Parker (Lab Rats, American Crime Story), Lenny Jacobson (Nurse Jackie, Big Time in Hollywood, FL), and Jessy Schram (Nashville, Veronica Mars, Falling Skies). Twelve winning plays by young playwrights aged 16-19 from seven different states will be presented during this year's festival at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood, running from June 2-26.

Bryant Park Corporation announces the summer season of Bryant Park Presents, the performing arts series that creates adventurous and immersive outdoor cultural experiences in the middle of Midtown Manhattan. The season, April 22 - September 17, comprises more than 50 events spanning a broad range of concerts, dance and theater performances, dance parties, and more. All events are held free of charge in iconic Bryant Park, an oasis in a canyon of skyscrapers.

Carnegie Hall today announced the names of the 109 outstanding young musicians selected from across the country for the fourth annual National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA). The members of the 2016 orchestra-ages 16-19, hailing from 32 US states-have been recognized by Carnegie Hall as being among the finest players in the country following a comprehensive and highly competitive audition process. This summer's NYO-USA will feature 38 returning musicians. The program is free for all participants.

The Addams Family has been playing BDT Stage in Boulder since November, but even though death is just around the corner for this show's run, it still manages to be everything but neat, sweet and petite. (Which is exactly what an homage to the classic family deserves.)

Cameron Mackintosh announced today that Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical 'MISS SAIGON' will make its final London flight at the Prince Edward Theatre on Saturday 27 February 2016.

From Monday 11 May 2015 Chris Peluso, direct from the Tony award-winning musical 'Beautiful', will star as 'Chris'; Siobhan Dillon as 'Ellen'; Natalie Mendoza as 'Gigi' and Sangwoong Jo as 'Thuy'.
