Suspenseful WAIT UNTIL DARK Coming to Millbrook Playhouse ImageThe Board of Directors and Millbrook Playhouse Artistic Director, David Leidholdt, will present another one of Frederick Knott's psychological thrillers, WAIT UNTIL DARK.

In 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind woman, is imperiled in her own apartment by a trio of men in search of a doll with a mysterious secret. Through the help of a neighbor, she figures out that she is the victim of a bizarre charade, yet even in the face of deception and murder, Susan refuses to play the victim. As she attempts to stay one step ahead of her intruders, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this unforgettable thriller's chilling conclusion.

The cast features many newcomers to Millbrook, including Quinn Warren as Susan Hendrix, Tim Garner as Michael Talman, Ethan Levy as Harry Roat, and Christopher Josiah Doss as Sam Hendrix who are joined by Thomas-Robert Irvin in his second show of the season as Sgt. Carlino and local teen actress Alexis Haigh as Gloria.

WAIT UNTIL DARK is written by Frederick Knott and adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher. Millbrook welcomes back director Morgan Sills (Dial M for Murder, Steel Magnolias) for another classic thriller. The creative team includes Set Design by Nicholas Schwartz, Costume Design by Michael Blatzer, Lighting Design by Ethan Vail, Props Design by Savannah Draper, and Sound Design by Damien Figueras.
