Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to Milwaukee in January 2011. Performances begin on January 4 and run through January 9 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. This Milwaukee engagement is presented by Broadway Across America-Milwaukee and the Marcus Center as part of the Time Warner Cable Broadway at the Marcus Center Series. Disney Channel and Disney XD spread the holiday cheer with all new seasonal episodes of 'Sonny With A Chance,' 'The Suite Life on Deck,' 'Phineas and Ferb,' 'Zeke and Luther,' 'Handy Manny' and 'Special Agent Oso' beginning SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 28. The season includes Joe Jonas guest starring in a new special, 'So Random!,' based on the sketch comedy show seen in the hit series 'Sonny With A Chance,' and a multi-platform presentation of the holiday classic in the making, 'Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation' (in an extended edition), on Disney Channel, Disney XD, ABC Family and the ABC Television Network. Last year the premiere of 'Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation' set all-time high ratings records for Disney XD, delivering 2.88 million Total Viewers and series ratings highs on Disney Channel, where it delivered 5.21 million Total Viewers.

BroadwayWorld TV's Los Angeles correspondent Michael Sterling, got up close and personal today with the cast of RENT at rehearsals for the Hollywood Bowl presentation of the groundbreaking musical August 6 through 8, 2010. Sterling spoke in detail with the show's star-studded cast and director about the upcoming performances at one of the world's most renowned venues.

RENT, written by Jonathan Larson, will be performed at the Hollywood Bowl for three performances only, Friday and Saturday August 6 and 7 at 8:30pm, and Sunday August 8 at 7:30pm. Neil Patrick Harris will direct the production, with musical direction by Tim Weil and choreography by Jamal Sims. The cast includes Skylar Astin, Wayne Brady, Vanessa Hudgens, Telly Leung, Collins Pennie, Nicole Scherzinger, Tracie Thoms, and Aaron Tveit.

Celebrated performer Neil Patrick Harris will direct the premiere of RENT at the Hollywood Bowl this summer. Responding to the mixed reactions of his casting Vanessa Hudgens as Mimi, Harris has now spoken out in support of the High School Musical actress.

The casting of the premiere of RENT at the Hollywood Bowl is completed; Nicole Scherzinger, solo artist, lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, and this season's winner of Dancing With the Stars, will play Maureen.

Casting for the 60th Music Circus season is nearing completion. After auditioning performers in New York, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre Artistic Director Glenn Casale is finalizing the acting company for the seven-show season at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. The company is expected to include Broadway veterans, including Tony Award nominees, television comedians, up-and-coming young actors and plenty of returning Music Circus favorites. Tonight, Monday, May 24th at 8pm, 88's Cabaret is very excited to celebrate its 3rd Anniversary with performances honoring the last three years. The event will be held at La Boheme's sister restaurant Gonpachi in Beverly Hills. Gonpachi will feature a special menu for 88's with something for everyone (and not at Beverly Hills prices!). Appetizers will start at just $3. The cost is $15 to be seated with dinner (with dinner reservation) and $10 for standing room only, with a cash cover at the door. Cover prices have been lowered as a thanks to all patrons over the past three years. There will be a big announcement at the show that 88's is very excited about.
