Dog & Pony Theatre Presents DEAD LETTER OFFICE at Storefront Theatre, 6/9-7/18

Dog & Pony Theatre Company, in association with Chicago DCA Theater, presents the world premiere of DEAD LETTER OFFICE. The production, conceived by Ben Viccellio, written by Philip Dawkins, and directed by Dieterich Gray, comes to Chicago DCA's Storefront Theater at 66 E. Randolph Street, from June 9 to July 18, 2010.

Eric Roberts Joins 'The Young and the Restless' 7/12

Actor Eric Roberts will join the cast of CBS soap opera 'The Young and the Restless,' TV Guide reports. Roberts will play Adam Wilson's (Michael Muhney) lawyer and will first appear on July 12.

The Broad Stage's Production of DADDY LONG LEGS Closes 6/27

The Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center opens its first summer season with the Los Angeles premiere of the musical Daddy Long Legs. From John Caird, the Tony and Olivier Award-Winning director of Les Misérables and Nicholas Nickleby, and the creators of Jane Eyre.

Morse & Stiles Lead THE SEX KING Reading 6/21

Stacy Shane and ManUnderdog Productions will have on Monday, June 21st a reading of the new play, 'The Sex King' by Bill C. Davis ('Mass Appeal') with David Morse and Julia Stiles at The Clurman Theatre (Theatre Row). It will be directed by Jonathan Silverstein, the director of this seasons 'The Temperamentals.' and 'I Never Sang For My Father.' The production is planned for next season. Mr. Shane is the original producer of the critically acclaimed and award-winning new American play, 'The Tempermanetals.'

Rubicon Theatre Co Continues Season With CRIMES OF THE HEART, Concludes 5/16

Rubicon Theatre Company continues its 2009-2010 Season with a revival of BETH HENLEY's Pulitzer Prize-winning play CRIMES OF THE HEART. Set in Mississippi in 1974 (five years after Hurricane Camille), this sweet, sexy comedy follows the travails of the three Magrath sisters, who come together at the family home in Hazelhurst when the youngest Babe is charged with shooting her husband 'cause she didn't like his looks.'
