The Purple Rose Theatre Company is proud to announce the World Premiere of Escanaba by Jeff Daniels this fall. The production will enjoy a fourteen-week engagement from Thursday, September 17 through Saturday, December 19, 2009.

Tonight, Monday August 3rd the hit show 'The Temperamentals' by Jon Marans begins Militant Mondays, a series of talk backs following the performance. Paul Rudnick will join fellow playwrights Larry Kramer, Bill C Davis & Jon Marans. It will be moderated by Jonathan Silverstein.

When the first act of Warren Manzi's PERFECT CRIME ends, the audience sits in stone cold silence. The silence lasts for a few moments after the houselights are brought up and when the audience does finally react, they are abuzz about the convolutions of the plot that is unraveling before them. According to actor Robert Emmet Lunney it's 'hopefully because the audience is thinking; maybe even perplexed.'
