TriArts Sharon Playhouse (Sharon, CT) today announced its 2012 Season. The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas runs June 28 - July 15 and will be directed by John Simpkins, whose recent credits include three time Drama Desk nominated Bloodsong of Love (by Joe Iconis) and Jim Lantz's play The Bus, which ran last fall at 59E59 Theatres. MK Lawson returns as choreographer, after doing the same for TriArts' productions of Rent and The Wedding Singer. Music Direction is by Rob Rokicki (Hairspray at the Engeman).
The debut album of Brett Rigby, A Minute: The Songs of Craig Carnelia, is the first complete Craig Carnelia album released in over a decade. Featuring the unpublished title song, A Minute, this collection of Craig Carnelia's work is now available on iTunes.
