The triple-bill runs for about 45 minutes and includes the wonderful story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar's metamorphosis, the fanciful account of Little Cloud's travels, and The Mixed -Up Chameleon's discovery of his own unique nature.

Commissioned by the Kennedy Center, the play is written by six-time Emmy Award-winner and popular children's book author Mo Willems and directed by Jerry Whiddon, with music by Deborah Wicks La Puma. The production features a live, four-piece band on stage. Press opening performance is Saturday, November 23 at 4pm. The performance on Saturday, December 28 at 11am is sensory-friendly. The series aims to encourage the development of strong reading skills at home in children ages four to eight. Online resources such as literacy-based activity sheets and Parents' Guides will give parents the opportunity to engage their children prior to attending the performances, and then again after seeing each show.
