THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR Set for WHBPAC Today
After much demand, that little caterpillar is returning to the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, along with an assortment of favorite puppet characters. Young children ages 3 - 7 will be awed and amazed by Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia's lively, family friendly production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Stories today, December 3 and Wednesday, December 4 at 12:30pm. All tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling Cheryl Wheeler at 631-288-2350 ext 102. The triple-bill runs for about 45 minutes and includes the wonderful story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar's metamorphosis, the fanciful account of Little Cloud's travels, and The Mixed -Up Chameleon's discovery of his own unique nature.
Stay-at-home parents and caregivers, bundle up the kids and treat them to a magical theatre experience like no other! Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia captures the whimsical charm of three favorite Eric Carle stories with vibrant effects, original music and innovative puppets. Closely following the books from which they are adapted, charming vignettes teach and entertain with large-scale puppets brought to life through the magic of "black light."
