The global sensation, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, created by Jonathan Rockefeller, recently celebrates its 1000th show worldwide. The critically acclaimed The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, has brought Eric Carle's beloved Very Hungry Caterpillar around the world, including sold out shows in Australia, UK (including a run on the West End), Dubai, New Zealand, San Francisco and New York and gearing up for productions in in Dallas, Oregon and Toronto later this year. To celebrate President's Day producers have added three shows on Monday, February 19 at 10am / 12 pm/ and 2 pm. 

Dallas audiences are among the first to experience the world of 75 larger-than-life puppets in the critically acclaimed production of THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR SHOW. Within 55 minutes you'll explore the beautiful worlds of author Eric Carle's books The Artist Who Painted A Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Under the direction of Douglass Burks, founding member and Master Puppeteer with Kathy Burks Theatre of Puppetry Arts, four talented actors bring to life characters previously admired only as Carle's iconic collage and watercolor illustrations.

Originally set to close on February 4, 2018 the hit family show, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, will extend its run through April 8, 2018 due to popular demand. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show was nominated for a Drama Desk and Off-Broadway Alliance Award and will continue to perform at Union Square's DR2 Theatre (103 East 15 Street).
