Telemundo announced the premiere of the series based on the true story of La Diva de la Banda, JENNI RIVERA: MARIPOSA DE BARRIO today, June 27 at 8 pm/7c. The series is the third installment of Telemundo's successful bio-musical series and stars Angélica Celaya, Samadhi Zendejas and Gabriel Porras.

TEMPLE OF THE SOULS will play a limited engagement as part of the New York Musical Festival at Off-Broadway's The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd St., NY, NY 10036). Performances begin Wednesday, July 19 and continue until Sunday, July 23.

MPAC's summer season continues the week of July 17-21 with three events including the return of MPAC's free summer movie series. Also coming that week are the tribute group the New York Bee Gees and Jersey comic Vic DiBitetto.

Ehrenkranz Artistic Director Jane Moss today announced Lincoln Center's 2017 White Light Festival, which runs from October 18 through November 15. With more than 35 events presented in 13 venues throughout the city, including U.S. and New York premieres and nine commissions, the eighth annual international festival will explore transcendence, interior illumination, and faith in the human spirit, as exhibited through artistic expression across continents and centuries. The multidisciplinary festival takes its name from a quotation by Estonian composer Arvo Part: "Icouldcomparemymusic to white light, which contains all colors. Only a prism can divide the colors and make them appear; this prism could be the spirit of the listener."
