Over 30 artists will make their Union Avenue Opera [UAO] debut during its 23rd Festival Season this summer.

???????Rec Room Arts announces a bold, multidisciplinary season that blends together theatre, ballet, opera, modern dance, visual art, and concert. Sitting in Rec Room's intimate bar across the hall from the performance space, artistic director Matt Hune explains: 'We want to showcase the epic in a small space; to bring opera to people who would never go to the opera or ballet to people who would never see a ballet. What we're doing is accessible.'

International music legend Engelbert Humperdinck has announced a London show as part of his 50th Anniversary tour, celebrating 50 years since the release of his legendary smash hit, and one of the best-selling singles of all time, 'Release Me', which debuted in 1967.

Engelbert Humperdinck celebrates 50 years since his iconic song Release Me with a new album of his greatest hits, including two brand new tracks. The 2CD collection will be released on Decca/UMe on June 2 nd (available May 19 outside the U.S.) and includes a remix of Release Me one of the best-selling singles of all time.

As part of its Spring Puppet Performance Series, the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut will present Hansel and Gretel by the acclaimed National Marionette Theatre. Performances will take place on April 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Ballard Institute Theater located at 1 Royce Circle in Storrs Center.
