PSO Holiday POPS! Wonderlands Concert to be Held 12/19

On Saturday, December 19 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents Holiday POPS! Wonderlands featuring festive music sparked by imaginative visions of distant lands. Conducted by John Devlin, concert highlights include works by Vaughan-Williams, Tchaikovsky, Humperdinck, and Sibelius. The Princeton High School Choir performs Handel's Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah and arrangements of "I Saw Three Ships" and "Twelve Days of Christmas," accompanied by the orchestra. The traditional sing-along, an arrangement of seasonal favorites by Leroy Anderson, includes the addition of young violinists of El Sistema-Trenton playing alongside PSO professionals. The student musicians also perform David Rimelis' "Three Little Birds/Ode to Joy."

TG Sheppard to Release New Album 'Legendary Friends & Country Duets'

Since leaving home in 1961 to pursue a career in music, TG Sheppard has done it all. He scored a job as a promotions executive for RCA Records, where he became friends with Elvis Presley who believed in his talent so much that he gave him his first tour bus, topped the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart an astonishing 21 times, and left an everlasting mark on Country music. Over the years, the smooth singer/songwriter has made a lot of impressive friends, which inspired the vision for his upcoming album, Legendary Friends & Country Duets, which is set for release on Oct. 30 via Cleopatra Records. On the upcoming project, TG collaborates with some of the most influential artists of all-time and those that he can actually call his personal friends.

Tickets to THE WIZARD OF OZ & More, as Part of Omaha Performing Arts' 2015-16 Season, Now on Sale

Single tickets for more than 30 of Omaha Performing Arts' 2015-2016 performances will go on sale Thursday, September 3. The performances, scheduled for October 2015 through June 2016, include several shows added after the season announcement, including Mavis Staples with special guest, Nick Lowe, Wild Kratts - Live!, Engelbert Humperdinck, and Yo-Yo Ma and Kathryn Stott in Recital.

The 21st annual Summer Festival of Sacred Music at St. Bartholomew's Church begins on Sunday, June 21 at 11 am with a performance of Josef Gabriel Rheinberger's Cantus Missae, Op. 109 for double choir.

Cast Set for 64th Wexford Festival Opera

Artistic Director David Agler today announced the cast for the main evening operas in the forthcoming Wexford Festival, opening Wednesday, 21 October. A mixture of new and familiar voices makes up the 64-member company, comprising 20 principal roles, 32 chorus-members and 10 dancers. They hail from several different countries, including Ireland, Britain, South Africa, Canada, US, France, Italy, Australia and Malta. When including the creative teams, production team, orchestra and crew, the full company of this year's Festival is likely to be in excess of 200.
