PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now is pleased to announce programming for the seventh annual festival of fresh opera-theatre & music-theatre running January 5-13, 2019, featuring eight presentations that "shift the whole paradigm of what opera is and can be" (New York Observer).

PTP/NYC (Potomac Theatre Project), in association with Middlebury College, continues its 30th repertory season (and 10th consecutive in New York City) celebration with a range of special events, all free of charge to audiences.

Bobby Cannavale, Edie Falco, Frank Wood and other accomplished actors will perform in Larger Than Life: The Supersized Plays, the Project's Fall 2015 Playmaking show. 

The 52nd Street Project makes a difference in the lives of countless Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. Perhaps the most poignant presentations made by The 52nd Street Project are those in its semi-annual Playmaking series, which features the Project's youngest Hell's Kitchen mentees-ten year-olds who have just begun their theatrical education-writing for accomplished professional actors and revealing their work to a public audience for the first time. The Fall Festival of Shakespeare performances begin next month. Hundreds of teenagers will take to the stage for the culmination of the nationally recognized program that places Shakespeare & Company Education Artists in ten local and regional schools, where they lead students in a nine-week exploration of a Shakespeare play. The program's finale includes a series of performances, first at each school, and then at Shakespeare & Company, in the Tina Packer Playhouse. Built on the transformative power of Shakespeare's language and stories, the Fall Festival engages students in a personally meaningful, educationally rigorous and dramatically compelling experience of classical theatre.

New Georges announces its 23rd production season, which will include the January 2015 remount of Kate Benson's A Beautiful Day on the Banks of the Greatest of the Great Lakes and the World Premiere of Ariel Stess' Heartbreak in May 2015.

Tony and Olivier Award winning producers, Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley hosted a dinner in honor of the 2014-2015 Directors Project fellows on Tuesday, May 13th. The Directors Project fellows are in New York city for an intensive week-long orientation program which includes a series of events and opportunities to speak with theatre professionals. The Drama League have announced the stage directors who have been selected as the 2014 Fellows of The Drama League Directors Project: Zi Alikhan, Melissa Crespo, John Michael DiResta, Ellie Heyman, Lavina Jadhwani, Michael Leibenluft, Michael Osinki, Hannah Ryan, Teya Sugareva, Caitlin Sullivan, and Emma Weinstein.

Double LTR Productions' MOM BABY GOD kicks off its national tour and makes its New York premiere on Friday, October 18th at 5pm at TADA! Theatre, 15 W 28th St. New York, NY 10001.
