(mostly)musicals Will Take You on a ROAD TRIP This August

By:

After a 3-month absence, (mostly)musicals makes a long-awaited return to the E Spot Lounge on Monday, August 15 with ROAD TRIP, the company's 18th entry in a series of themed cabarets. "August is the perfect time for a getaway, and there are so many great songs about travel!" explains producer amy francis schott.

Let (mostly)musicals take you for a ride!

You know you'll be headed in the right direction with performances from alums Sharon McNight (Tony nominee, STARMITES), Amanda Kruger (Everly Snodgrass), Cassandra Nuss (AMERICAN IDIOT at Doma), Daniel Stewart (B'way: SPRING AWAKENING), Derek Carley (THE DODGERS), Emily Clark (SLIGHTLY DRAMATIC), Tod Macofsky (SEX, LOVE, AND YOGA), and Victor E. Chan (CHESS at East West Players), plus (mostly)musicals debuts from Michael-Leon Wooley (Disney's THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG, B'way: LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS), John Devereaux (DREAMGIRLS and RENT at La Mirada), Matthew Sims (RECORDED IN HOLLYWOOD), Marc Baron Ginsburg (REAL HOUSEWIVES: THE MUSICAL), and Tiana Okoye (Elsa in FROZEN - Live at the Hyperion), with additional casting TBA.

Music director Gregory Nabours will keep us on course as we navigate songs by Duke Ellington, Jason Robert Brown, Jeanine Tesori, Arlo Guthrie, Adam Guettel, Kerrigan-Lowdermilk, and more!

As an added ROADside attraction, ROAD TRIP will feature a special guest performance from Pico Playhouse's NEXT TO NORMAL, featuring Michelle Lane. And, of course, we'd be lost without our open mic afterparty. Get your tickets now at www.espotlounge.com, and set your GPS for Studio City on August 15!

Advance tickets are available at www.espotlounge.com. Doors open at 6:30pm for dinner and drinks. Tickets are $15 with a 2 item minimum. The E Spot Lounge is located on the upper level of Vitello's Restaurant at 4349 Tujunga Avenue, Studio City, CA. Valet and street parking are available.
