Write Act Repertory presents Pillars of New York, the story of 4 couples' struggles in and around the events surrounding the 9-11 tragedy. As the recovery happens, mentally and physically for the couples, therapist and author Jake Kelly evaluates his own personal loss and mortality as he explores others sides to their stories.

The beloved Mary Poppins character has been on a journey with children of all ages since 1934, first as a popular children's book series by P.L. Travers, then as the 1964 Academy Award-winning and most popular Disney film of all time (after Walt Disney managed to convince the author to allow him to adapt her book), and finally as a hit stage musical which is now wowing audiences at the 450-seat Norris Theatre on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. With brand new breath-taking musical numbers and amazing flying and graphic effects, this spectacular production deserves the only word I can think of to describe it: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Palos Verdes Performing Arts (formerly known as Norris Center for the Performing Arts) presents the Broadway smash hit musical comedy, "The Full Monty," September 19 - October 5 at the Norris Theatre in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Based on the Oscar-winning film, the ten-time Tony-nominated musical masterfully balances irreverent hilarity with an uplifting tale of true friendship and features a witty book by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Terrance McNally ('Ragtime' and 'Kiss of the Spider Woman') and infectious pop-rock music by composer David Yazbek ('Dirty Rotten Scoundrels').

Chance Theater presents the fifth show of its 15th Anniversary Season - a family-friendly holiday offering The Secret Garden - The Musical with book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Marsha Norman, music by Tony Award nominee Lucy Simon, and directed by Casey Long and KC Wilkerson. The Mysterium Theatre's production of the musical ASSASSINS is set to open tomorrow night, May 31, and run through June 30. The show performs on Friday and Saturdays at 8:01pm and Sundays at 7:01pm, and on June 8 and 15, there will also be a matinee performance at 2:01pm.
