After her directorial debut with last season's RASHEEDA SPEAKING, The New Group presents her sophomore effort.

"The Big Bang Theory" star Kunal Nayyar stopped by CBS's THE TALK and revealed how he got a little too enthusiastic while performing a fight scene with Jesse Eisenberg in the Off Broadway play, THE SPOILS.

The New Group has announced complete casting for the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, the production launching the company's upcoming season, and initial casting for the world premiere of Mark Gerrard's Steve, the second production in the company's 2015-2016 season.

From the producers of NIRBHAYA, The Exonerated, Guantanamo and Sarah Jones' Bridge & Tunnel, Culture Project along with Rosie O'Donnell will present the world premiere of MotherStruck written and performed by Staceyann Chin and directed by Cynthia Nixon, beginning Thursday, September 24th, 2015 at Culture Project's Lynn Redgrave Theater.   Opening Night is set for Wednesday, October 7th.

Actress Amy Madigan will direct Neil Koenigsberg's play Off the King's Road later this month at the Odyssey. A production of the play in New York last season was critically acclaimed, including a New York Times critic's pick. This production features Erin Darke, Annapurna Sriram and Michael Zegen, and as previously announced, Jesse Eisenberg and Kunal Nayyar. The show opened last night, June 2, for a limited Off-Broadway engagement slated through June 28 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street). The New Group has announced three productions for its 2015-2016 Season.  The company's new season kicks off in Summer 2015 with the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, directed by Scott Elliott.  The season continues in Fall 2015 with the world premiere of Mark Gerrard's Steve, with director Cynthia Nixon returning to The New Group, where she made her directorial debut earlier this year.  In Winter 2016, Scott Elliott directs Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Buried Child, featuring Ed Harris and Amy Madigan, who return to The New Group with this production.
