Winners of the $1000 prize are Jennifer Gibbs, author of the play, Sounding & its director, Kristin Marting. Gibbs based the play, currently in workshop at HERE, on Henrik Ibsen's The Lady from the Sea. Marting & Gibbs plan a multi-media production, including film & music.

'Mel & El: This Show Rhymes' has been extended! The comedic duo of Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin will return to The Duplex yet again on November 7 and November 28 with their hilarious two-woman musical.

After the success of their New York Musical Theatre concert engagement, Mel & El: This Show Rhymes reprising their performance at another venue, The Duplex! Performances are Wednesday, October 10 at 7PM and Wednesday, October 17 at 7PM.
