Fresh from sold out performances at The Laurie Beechman Theatre and The Duplex, Mel & El: This Show Rhymes has been invited to join the ranks of one-night special engagements at the New York Musical Theatre Festival's (NYMF) Concert Series at Ars Nova, 511 W. 54th Street, on Friday, September 28 at 8PM.

Created and performed by Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin, with music by Patrick Spencer Bodd, Kimberly Stern, Evan Toth, Noah Diamond and Amanda Sisk, "Mel & El: This Show Rhymes is a 75 minute musical tour-de-force featuring in-your-crotch comedy coupled with songs that are witty, heartfelt and irreverent…An original two-woman show with universal themes, Mel & El: This Show Rhymes has been described as a musical Kathy & Mo meets 'Sex & the City.'"

The New York Musical Theatre Festival, the flagship program of The National Music Theater Network, is the enormously popular three-week celebration that features the works of the newest generation of musical theatre writers and takes over midtown each fall with a slate of more than 30 full productions and some 100 special events, including readings, workshops, concerts, parties, seminars and master classes.
