On Her Shoulders will present a FREE staged reading of three shorts from the Suffragists, directed by Melissa Attebery tonight, February 18, 2015. Doors open at 6:30pm;The Play in Context, which situates the script in its historical time and place, kicks off the evening at 6:45pm with an Introduction by dramaturg Barbara Cohen-Stratyner. Kristin Heckler is Assistant Director. Running time, including a post-performance Q&A is 2 hours. The performance is at New Perspectives Studio, 458 West 37th Street, at 10th Avenue. National Portrait Gallery to Display SARGENT Exhibition, 2/12

A major exhibition of works by one of the world's most celebrated portrait painters, John Singer Sargent, opens at the National Portrait Gallery tomorrow (Thursday 12 February 2015). Organised in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the exhibition brings together, for the first time, a collection of the artist's intimate and informal portraits of his impressive circle of friends, including Robert Louis Stevenson, Claude Monet and Auguste Rodin.

Dance Art Foundation Takes Joe Moran's ASSEMBLY on UK Tour, Beginning Today

In the first national tour of his work, choreographer Joe Moran, with his company Dance Art Foundation, presents a collection of dance works this autumn. The tour will visit a diverse range of institutions, as these three works are staged in collaboration with galleries, theatres and health organisations across the UK. ASSEMBLY will tour from today, 16 October to 15 November 2014 with a press performance set for the University of Bedford Theatre on 22 October and the Greenwich Dance Agency on 15 November.

In the 1970s, the sexual revolution had finally given women the freedom to fully explore their natures. How women of various ages reconciled this freedom with their personal ethics is the subject of Dana Leslie Goldstein's newest play, 'Daughters of the Sexual Revolution,' which will be presented today, September 18 to October 11 by the WorkShop Theater Company, 312 West 36th Street. Full casting is announced for Gregory Doran's new production of the rarely-performed Jacobean domestic tragedy by Dekker, Ford and Rowley, The Witch of Edmonton. As previously announced Eileen Atkins returns to the RSC in the title role of Elizabeth Sawyer as the RSC continues to stage the plays of Shakespeare's contemporaries in the Swan Theatre. The Witch of Edmonton opens for previews on the 23 October 2014 and will play in repertoire with an extended run of The White Devil until the 29 November 2014.

The Community Theatre of Little Rock opens its 59th Season with their Late Summer production 'A Series of One Acts'. Their One Acts will be "30 Minutes to Charlie" by Nick Zagone, "Pvt. Wars" by James McLure, 'Ways and Means' by Noel Coward and 'The Actor's Nightmare' by Christopher Durang.
