As my play Homos, or Everyone in America makes its European debut this summer, almost exactly two years after both its world premiere in New York and the 2016 American Presidential election, it's interesting for me to consider what has and hasn't changed in that time.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 2018/ 2019 season with Fun Home, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical. Based on the blazingly honest graphic novel of MacArthur Genius Award winner Alison Bechdel, Fun Home explores Alison's loving, yet dysfunctional upbringing.

Today, GRAMMY nominated Country singer/songwriter Camannounces her Road to Happiness Tour coming this fall featuring special guest, British singer/songwriter, Lucie Silvas. This will be Cam's biggest headlining tour to date and kicks off on September 26 at the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN wrapping on October 23rd at the Bluebird Theater in Denver, CO.

With their highly original orchestral-rock sound and uniquely captivating lead singer/songwriter Freddie Mercury , Queen were chart-topping superstars from the late 1970s-1980s. The majestic Mercury died in 1991.

To celebrate the release of their critically acclaimed new album, the band will visit major markets throughout the summer before concluding in their hometown of Las Vegas on August 18th. A R I Z O N A and Hayley Kiyoko will provide support for the 28 city tour, which was produced by AEG Presents. Numerous arenas on the run have already sold out, including Madison Square Garden in New York City and STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. RuPaul, the Emmy-winning host of “RuPaul's Drag Race” is bringing his personality to the daytime space, filming a talk show pilot for Telepictures, Variety has learned exclusively.

Jerry Seinfeld's roving talk show combines coffee, laughs, and vintage cars into quirky, caffeine-filled adventures with the sharpest minds in comedy. The series returns to Netflix for an all-new season on July 6th.

Grammy-nominated band Panic! At The Disco have earned their  second consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart with their critically acclaimed sixth album, Pray For The Wicked.  Debuting at No. 1 on iTunes in 22 countries, the album launched with 180,000 equivalent album units earned, 151,000 of which were traditional album sales. Both figures represent the biggest week for an alternative rock album in 2018, according to Billboard. According to Nielsen Music, the album saw the fifth-largest week for a vinyl effort since the company began tracking sales in 1991. Lead single 'Say Amen (Saturday Night) is also currently No. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Songs Chart and current single 'High Hopes' is exploding at streaming services. Sundance Institute and Skywalker Sound today announced the composers and directors selected for the Sundance Institute Film Music and Sound Design Lab, which returns to the legendary Skywalker Sound Facilities for the sixth year. More than half of the composers selected for this year's Lab are female.
