Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), the not-for-profit which brought new life to the historic Theatre By The Sea for the past five years, is currently presenting their first summer production in their new state-of-the-Art Theatre in Warwick - the all-singing, all-dancing, feel-good musical comedy, Legally Blonde The Musical, which opened on July 10, 2013. After 272 performances and nearly 10 months of dazzling audiences around the country, Australia's brightest hit musical comes to an end tonight, Sunday July 14. Legally Blonde began at the Sydney Lyric on September 21 last year, followed by seasons at the Lyric Theatre, Brisbane from March 12, 2013 and at Melbourne's Princess Theatre from May 9.

It's just been announced that Carley Stenson has joined the cast of the UK premiere of cult Broadway hit [title of show].

The Transcendence Artist Series, is a collection of one night concerts with individual artists in a variety of remarkable settings throughout Wine Country. From wine caves and vineyards back to the Jack London Park ruins, these performances will each create an intimate atmosphere for inspiration and transcendence.

Actresses, Brittany Ross & Natalie Lander who play the pretty high school cheerleaders from ABC's hit series The Middle have now joined the Chico's Angels cast. Brittany & Natalie will play the roles of two of the contestants in the Miss Kumquat Pageant in 'Pretty Chicas All in a Row.'

On Thursday, July 18 and Saturday, July 20, 2013, playwright, Duriel E. Harris will present two performances of "Thingification" at the 11th Annual Fresh Fruit Festival - "New York City's grassroots, disciplinary international festival of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer arts and culture."

The Road Company Theater's popular, sold-out 2013 summer camp at the Grand Theatre will culminate in fully staged productions of Disney's Aladdin, Jr. and Legally Blonde: The Musical in August. "While there are other summer camps for parents to choose from for their children, many favor ours because of its affordability and the intensive six-week program dedicated to training in auditioning, stage presence, voice, dance, and the technical aspects of live theater, in addition to rehearsing and performing shows," stated Lauri Hudson, Road Company president. Jennifer Gerhart, mother of Stevie Rose and Sofia, said: "I couldn't imagine either of my girls at any other camp or with any other instructors. I doubt it would be the same experience." Legally Blonde: The Musical will be performed by those ages 12 through 18 on Thursday, August 8, Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 at 7:30 pm in the Grand Theatre, 405 S. The award-winning musical theatre blockbuster WICKED is returning to its original Australian home in Melbourne next year. WICKED Australian Co-Producer John Frost today announced that WICKED will open at the Regent Theatre, Melbourne, on Saturday May 10, 2014 for a strictly limited season, before touring to Sydney and Brisbane.
