Clear Creek Community Theatre (CCCT) kicks off its 51st Season on Friday, September 11th, with hilarious and heart-warming show, "Legally Blonde: The Musical". Based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the MGM motion picture starring Reese Witherspoon, "Legally Blonde: The Musical" follows the transformation of California valley girl Elle Woods as she follows her boyfriend to Harvard Law School. There she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. With music and lyrics by Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach, "Legally Blonde: The Musical" enjoyed a successful Broadway run and continues to entertain audiences world-wide.
Albuquerque Little Theatre to Present LEGALLY BLONDE

LEGALLY BLONDE, the first musical of Albuquerque Little Theatre's 86th Season might sound less amazing than it really is. The musical is based on the popular 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon (which is based on the novel by Amanda Brown). Like the film, the musical is fun and quirky, only with highly catchy songs and raging choreography.

Her story recounting the trials and tribulations of growing up in a legendary hippie household is brought to life through intimate storytelling, interpretive dance, and humor-all set to a dizzyingly eclectic soundtrack that features classical, soul, new wave, punk rock, and more. Consider yourself warned-this performance will contain explicit use of embarrassing home videos and incense.
SCHOOLED Set for Soho Playhouse's Fringe Encore Series

After a critically acclaimed, sold-out run at The New York International Fringe Festival, the Soho Playhouse will present The All-Americans's production of SCHOOLED, written by Lisa Lewis and directed by James Kautz (Artistic Director of The Amoralists), as part of the Fringe Encore Series, running October 5 - 17, 2015. The Soho Playhouse is located at 15 Vandam Street between 6th Avenue and Varick Street in New York City.

URINETOWN continues The Barn Stage Company's 2015 Summer Series. After working on the national tour of MURDER FOR TWO and Disney's THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, J. Scott Lapp returns to The Barn Stage Company directing this hilarious tale about the lack of water in a mythical town. The Barn Stage Company's engagement began performances on August 20 and will run through August 30, 2015, in the newly renovated Truax Building in Old Town Temecula. Actors' Shakespeare Project (ASP) announces casting for their first production of the 2015-16 'Affairs of the Heart' season: William Shakespeare's Othello September 23- October 25 at The Modern Theatre at Suffolk University, 525 Washington Street, Boston. Preview performances run Wednesday-Friday, September 23-25, 2015 at 7:30 pm. Opening Night is Saturday, September 26 at 8 pm. Performances are Wednesday, Thursdays, and Fridays, 7:30 pm; Saturdays, 3 pm (not Sept. 26) & 8 pm; and Sundays, 2 pm (Press Performance is Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 8 pm(click here to RSVP). The show runs Today-Sunday for two weekends at The Truax Building in Old Town Temecula. This 2002 Tony Award winning comedy satirizes the legal system, social irresponsibility, populism, and corporate mismanagement. URINETOWN will be directed by J.
