Tricycle Theatre Young Company's SWITCH Returns

The Tricycle Theatre has announced the return of the Tricycle's 19-25-year-old Young Company's SWITCH for a further four performances in June. This will be the final Tricycle Young Company performance in the building before the Tricycle Theatre closes temporarily for a period of Capital renovations from July 2016.
RENT Celebrates 20th Anniversary; Set to Tour UK, Oct. 21

Robert Mackintosh and Idili Theatricals Limited, in association with Theatr Clwyd and Wales Millennium Centre, are presenting the 20thAnniversary production of Jonathan Larson's ground-breaking Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning musical RENT. After opening at Theatr Clwyd for a limited season from 21 October to 12 November 2016, RENT will go on a three-week tour, prior to a Christmas Season at St. James Theatre, London from 8 December 2016 to 28 January 2017, with a national press night on Tuesday 13 December 2016. 2017 tour dates are to be announced. The new production will be directed by Bruce Guthrie.

The world premiere of GROUNDHOG DAY has been delayed because of the 'technical requirements' involved in the production. Previews are now postponed until 15 July with an opening night of 16 August.

The Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) today announced the date, creative team, host and venue for the 37th Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards, the awards show and party that celebrates extraordinary Toronto talent in the performing arts. Dora Awards Producer Jacoba Knaapen announced that the much-anticipated event will take place on Monday, June 27 and that it will, for the third time in a row, be held under the stars at Harbourfront Centre. Tickets go on sale May 31.
