LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL Opens This Week at The Grove Theatre
The Grove Theatre is excited to announce the opening of LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL this Saturday, June 4th at 7:29 pm. An international award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde: The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Featuring Emmy Award winner David Lago, who recently appeared as Superman in The Grove's Superman, this action-packed musical explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Equal parts hilarious and heart-warming warming, this musical is so much fun it should be illegal!
This fabulously fun song-and-dance sensation follows a sweet and seemingly not-so-bright sorority sister named Elle Woods (Jessie Wise) on her journey to win back her high school boyfriend. Undeterred by the fact that he's currently enrolled at Harvard Law School, the ambitious Elle puts down her credit cards and picks up the books in order to conquer the Ivy League. Nominated in 2007 for seven Tony Awards (including Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score), the bright and bubbly Legally Blonde: The Musical is based on the hilarious novel by Amanda Brown and the subsequent hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon. ?
Tickets are $30.00 and $25.00 for adults and $15 for children over 13 and can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, by visiting The Grove box office or on our website at www.grovetheatre.com. The Grove Theatre is located at 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland, CA 91786.
