On Thursday October 17, Apple celebrated the global premiere of their highly anticipated series, DICKINSON, which debuts exclusively on Apple TV+ on November 1!

As streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime have become wildly popular, everyone has wanted a piece of the pie. This fall alone, new streaming services will launch from both Disney and Apple. Apple has yet to set an official date for Apple TV+, but it is rumored to be launching in November 2019 and will supposedly cost $9.99 a month.  Trailers have become dropping for what will be available when the service launches, and this week saw the release of Dickinson, an upcoming ten-episode series starring beloved poet Emily Dickinson.

Apple's highly anticipated series “Dickinson” will be the centerpiece of Tribeca TV Festival on Saturday, September 14. “Dickinson” will make its festival premiere followed by an all-star panel discussion with Academy Award® nominated star and executive producer Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, True Grit), star Jane Krakowski (“30 Rock,” 'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”) and series creator, showrunner and executive producer Alena Smith (“The Affair,” “The Newsroom”). The half-hour comedy will debut this fall exclusively on Apple TV+, a new home for the world's most creative storytellers.

Joseph Cross' feature directorial debut Summer Night has been acquired by Samuel Goldwyn Films, according to Deadline. The film is set for a release next spring.

Orion Pictures plans to bring the horror musical comedy ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE to the big screen for the upcoming holiday season. The film had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest.
