After four years of construction, Carnegie Hall's Judith and Burton Resnick Education Wing opens to the public this weekend, providing a new home within the Hall's landmark building for a wide range of music education and community programs created by Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute (WMI) and Ensemble ACJW.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME will welcome Frances O'Connor in the role of 'Colette', Belle's mother, for season four.

This September, Carnegie Hall's Judith and Burton Resnick Education Wing opens to the public, providing a new home within the Hall's landmark building for a wide range of music education and community programs created by Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute (WMI) and Ensemble ACJW. Young musicians, families, students, and teachers can have the opportunity to share musical experiences in 24 new inspirational spaces dedicated to music education on Carnegie Hall's upper floors. Activities housed in the new 61,000-square-foot wing will include interactive and educational musical events for families; programs for New York City students and music teachers; rehearsals and training for Ensemble ACJW fellows; workshops and master classes for young musicians; and professional development activities for educators, WMI teaching artists, and performers.

This fall, Symphony Space presents the superheroes of children's entertainment in a season with plenty of entertainment to guard NYC families against the diabolical quandary of “What To Do?” each weekend. Beginning on Saturday, September 27th with Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation, through Frances England's concert on March 28, 2015, a high-powered lineup bursts upon the Just Kidding stages, offering something for everyone: classic animation, interactive puppet theatre, hip hop, percussive dance, and sing-alongs with the most boredom-busting family musicians on the planet. The magnetically charged season also includes more Sunday performances than ever before.

Creator Adam Horowitz took to Twitter today to reveal two new members of the FROZEN storyline for ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME. John Rhys-Davies is lending his vocal talents to the role of Pabbie the Troll King -- adoptive father to Kristoff -- with Tyler Jacob Moore playing Hans, Anna's first suitor.

Hip hop, Indie-rock, punk and folk artists committed to social change will come together to honor musician and activist Pete Seeger. The program's hosts are Gina Belafonte, Harry Belafonte's daughter and Kitama Jackson, Pete Seeger's grandson. Mr. Seeger and Mr. Belafonte became international household names as singers who stood for change. For Belafonte that meant being involved in both the Civil Rights Movement in US and the Anti-Apartheid movement in South Africa. For Seeger that meant getting people singing, and then using song to lead marches and rallies around the world. From the labor movement to the Civil Rights movement to the environmental movement, Pete Seeger was always on the front lines. Today's artists aren't that different from Seeger and Belafonte, they also use music as a means to give voice to the voiceless and inspire people to change the world for themselves, their communities and future generations.
